Design and Implementation of IEC 61499 Standard standard-based controllers in a distributed control environment

The attached MATLAB code files are used in the research and development of a full state feedback controller for a DC motor. The code also includes transforming the Simulink model of the DC motor and controller into a Beckhoff object to be used in a real-time PLC application.

The Simulink block diagrams are used in the research and development of a full state feedback controller for a DC motor. The responses of the block diagrams of an open loop DC motor system, a closed loop DC motor system, a DC motor with full state feedback controller, and a DC motor with full state feedback and integral control, are all compared. The four test cases are also simulated with the addition of network induced delays by comparing the responses to multiple different delay lengths. The final block diagram control system which is transformed to a TwinCAT object is in the DCMotor_EncFB_230824 Simulink file.
