This project focuses on a combination of Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) topology with a predictive control strategy to provide an optimised system for three phase sinusoidal output voltages. A Finite Set-Model Predictive Control (FS-MPC) strategy for a three-phase VSI for Renewable Energy Systems (RES) applications is implemented. With three different cases the evaluation of the system is done. The simulations and result analyses are carried out using MATLAB/Simulink to test the effectiveness and robustness of FS-MPC for a VSI with AC filter for RL load supplied by an RES.
