Transposing Shakespeare into other varieties/dialects/versions of English
Pre-service teacher's of English performed scenes from Macbeth in translated version into local dialects or variety versions of English.
Aim: In order to translate the text from its Shakespearean version, each group needed to choose a scene from Macbeth to read and interpret closely. The second task was to preform the scene, and to learn about scrip writing and stage directions in the written version of a script. The third task was to produce individual written scripts based on their performance. This would be marked individually.
