The design and kinematic modelling of a novel single-sensor three-dimensional coordinate measuring machine
2021FEBEREC-STD-042
The data attached includes: (1). The data attached includes: (1). The mirror out of squareness of the machine before and after the calibration. The mirror out of squareness deviation is the primary error of the measurement results, hence it must be established for compensation purposes. It considers the deviation/comparison with the theoretically established mirror axis. Before the calibration the ten samples were taken for x, y, and z translations and the Monte Carlo simulation was employed to generate 20 000 samples, and the standards deviation of the error/out of squareness included 0.233mm, 0.232mm, and 0.021mm respectively. However, after the calibration the standard deviation on respective axis was 0.013mm, 0.027mm, and 0.029mm. (2) Includes the measurement the repeatability of the machine and the measurement results. The machine was translated 50mm in either axis and the standard deviation was 0.047mm, 0.050mm and 0.023mm in x, y, and z axis. Further the data includes the gauge block measurements of 24mm x 24mm x 8mm in x, y and z axis, and the standard deviation was 0.012mm, 0.012mm, and 0.018mm respectively.
