Effectiveness Factor Model Development and Validation for an Ethylene Photocatalytic Degradation Reactor Based on Robin Boundary Conditions

<p dir="ltr">An analytical equation of the effectiveness factor has been developed for the photocatalytic degradation of ethylene gas, a natural plant hormone responsible for fruit ripening. In this equation, the Sherwood number is incorporated to account for external mass transfer limitations. The effectiveness factor equation can be incorporated into the design equations for CSTR and PFR.</p>
