Data sets for simulation and physical testing of 280mm HAWT rotors with retrofitted ring vanes

Research is focused on the performance improvement of HAWT rotors by retrofitting ring vanes near the hub region in front of the plane of rotation. It was a comparative study with an rotor without a ring vane as baseline versus six retrofitted rotor with different sized ring vanes. Results consisted of CFD simulation and physical testing of the rotors.
