A total of 30 respondents (made up of 19 community members, two community leaders, and nine stakeholders) were selected and interviewed using purposive random sampling methods. Following the selection, a semi-structured questionnaire was designed and used to collect both qualitative and data. The qualitative data collection utilized a self-administered questionnaire via face-to-face. Responses received were analyzed using thematic analysis to organize identified themes emerging from the responses. Similar themes were grouped and transferred using Atlas ti.8.

The paper concludes that there is a statistically significant relationship between tourism development projects in recurring themes such as a new understanding of tourism-related business opportunity like job creation, increased trade, and education other respondents approximately 5 percent have a different view not categorized in themes like the negative environmental and social impact of tourism and development projects.
