A Proposed Energy Management Strategy For A Hybrid PV-Wind-Battery Storage System
Ethical ref #:2021FEBEREC-STD-076
This dataset supports the thesis titled “A Proposed Energy Management Strategy for a Hybrid PV-Wind-Battery Storage System.” The research focuses on the modeling, simulation, and control of a Hybrid Power System (HPS) integrating photovoltaic (PV) panels, wind turbines, and battery storage.
The uploaded data includes simulation models developed in MATLAB Simulink for each component of the HPS (PV, wind, and battery). It also contains the controller model responsible for managing real-time energy flow based on load demand and resource availability. Additionally, output data from various test scenarios—such as changes in irradiance, wind speed, and load—are included to demonstrate system behavior and controller performance.
These models were used to validate the energy management strategy proposed in the thesis and to demonstrate the feasibility of maintaining a continuous and efficient power supply using renewable sources.
